100% recycled PET for bottles and jars
PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is a light and durable polyester which, thanks to its infinite possibilities of recycling, has an excellent profile of the environmental sustainability perspective. PET belongs to the family of thermoplastics, materials which are transformed under the effect of heat into very viscous liquids which are easily worked: they return to the solid state when the temperature is lowered.
As its structure does not undergo modifications, the material can be subjected several times to processes of remodeling by heat: this characteristic of PET makes it 100% recyclable and it becomes possible to transform it into rPET: we have chosen to use 100% post-consumer recycled PET for all bottles and jars of the INSIGHT line.
100% recycled PP for caps
All caps of Insight jars are made from 100% recycled PP.
Bio-based PE for tubing
Our tubing is made from a bio-based material derived from cane sugar.
Recycled PET for labels
All product labels on bottles or jars are made of a material containing at least 25% recycled PET resin.
Rafcycle
We have joined the project RafCycle®, an innovative recycling concept based on the reuse of adhesive label scraps to create new materials.
RafCycle® recovers the by-products of adhesive labels destined for incineration or landfill, and transforms them giving them a new life. It also reduces the amount of waste going to landfill and provides countless benefits to printers, packers and other label industry operators and, of course, the environment. The tags are recovered and transformed into energy from waste, then used as fuel. Thanks to a technologically advanced process, the siliconized backing paper is recovered, sent for recycling and transformed into new cellulose which will become new paper.
